i am planning on putting a scoop on my K25 but do not want the seemingly standard Cowl induction scoop. If you are running any thing different how about posting some pics. I am pretty sure where I want to go, but other ideas would be useful.

I had a Hardwood scoop on my last truck. Trust me though, there is such a thing as too big. :emotions122:

While I like the look of the L-88 it's not tall enough. The 6 inch cowl is not quite tall enough either. I'm probably going to go with the old style pro street scoop which is 10 inches tall 14 wide and 33 long. I am still open to suggestions and ideas.

Fwiw, the hood scoop I used is a bolt on design. Seems like it was about 10" tall, it was tall enough to clear the filter on a Predaor carb on top of a 2" spacer on a 454.

Thanks! It's getting pretty rough these days though, about time for a makeover.

Thanks for posting! I find if it is too nice then I don't want to use it. On any backroad I'm out in front of the truck most of the time hacking and bending back branches so it won't give me the Montana pinstripe paint job. And don't get me started on rockchips on the lower rocker panels....
I'm going to use monstaliner on the whole outside of my truck this summer when it is warm enough. I requested color samples last week.
