Thought about the same for the S-10 but wanted low maintenance and cheap sense it’s end purpose it beat around town truck for the kids

Looks good, how does it run now with all the prettys along with all the mechanical changes? Grandson's(Kooper) is at my son's house getting ready for paint, probably next weekend. Found a pocket of rust under the lower right door molding and under the left front bed moldng after we took them all off.

She runs really well right now. Nice and smooth and exactly how you'd expect it to run. The only small issue is when I turn it off it shuts off kind of rough but I'm wondering if that's a trait of the iron duke or if I have a minor issue afoot. It doesn't diesel or anything like that but just shuts off kind of rough.

In my experience, that's just a trait of the iron duke. Similar to shutting off a big inline diesel in a big truck.

That's what I figured so I wasn't overly worried.
