I do know 4wd blazers and trucks had bigger offset on wheels. I know because i tried to put 4wd blazer wheels on my 2wd s10 and they wont fit
Lol, you are actually correct. I just need to go through them and figure out what I can sell. There's actually lots of stuff I should put up for sale. Maybe with tax time coming up, people will buy my junk. Er, I mean... fine automotive artifacts.
Reason I thought about widths is my monza's. They have a 7.5 in them and I can swap carriers and axle shafts from the trucks, don't think red blazer was narrow enough. Will check it tomorrow after work.
HUGE NEWS..... @RangRayy and I attacked this thing again tonight and we got the clutch working again!! this time we bled the system outside the truck and that seemed to do the trick along with a new clutch master! So happy! Tomorrow will be her first cruise around town unless the snow stops us
Here are the rims I put on my blazer, white letters out. 225/60r15 front, 245/60r15 rear. It is lowered a bit so they fill the wheel well nicely. 10" back, 8" front. Would have to take them off to figure the offset, but originally mocked a tire size piece of signboard , then attached a piece width wise so I could check different widths clearances. Once I calculated widest tire I could fit and still be flush with fender lip, then measured that for my offset. This is gap on rear tire and springs, enough for hard cornering to still clear.
@Old77 , great to see it on the road!! Just sent Kooper's s10 over to my son's (Tony the painter) place Friday evening with my daughter and sil. They (and Kooper) were all gonna work on the body for paint, but Kooper ended up in Post Falls Idaho for a wrestling tourney. Tony, my daughter and sil all worked on it today (sat) and gonna try to get it in primer tomorrow pm. When they pulled the moldings off of the body they found a rust thru spot on the right door and one on the driver bed side. The moldings were taped on with about an inch between the 2 tape lengths, that's where it rusted thru. Anyway the body people did good and Kooper went undefeated with 5 falls in the tournament, yea!!! The best thing was , I didn't have to do anything!!!!
