well I found out why I couldn't find a tv or kickdown cable, the thing has a 4l60e in it. No tv or kickdown provision on the thing.

So what year is this thing? A '93 perhaps? That would explain the trans maybe... I think pickups got them first starting in '92 or '93.

NICE!!!!!!!!!!! I need to reuse that then.

some guys ran the computer it came back as a 93 silverado.

My guess they got the entire setup from a 93, fullsize, or maybe just trans and computer,

weird thing is they are going back into my 88 k1500.

I'm really tempted to use the trans, motor, harness computer and all in it, they had a 700r4 2wd in place with the t-case when I got it. They unbolted the tail housing used a spacer and made it fit. I could do the same to this one.

bad thing is the s10 has a drac, and not sure where or if my 88 does.

I'm looking to do this as simple and cheap as possible. I would have to swap the tps pigtail over if I use the 350 harness. Plus use the s10 computer which I'd hope plugs into my harness for the 350? or I'd have to swap chips from the 2.

I don't know, swapping the entire setup sure is sounding good right about now. I know the newer clusters in the fullsizes used dracs too so i wonder if I swapped it all and bought a new cluster that's not the moon type if that'd work good?

Is the drac needed for the 4l60e to work?

went to a junkyard today, over 2 hrs away in pedro OH. I found tons of s10 parts a few squarebody parts for the fullsize squarebody too. He had a nice harwood cowl hood for a 73-80, and other accesories or stock parts.

anyways I got some weatherstrip I needed, a cab fairing one of the lund razorbacks they call it, a non ac heater box, and due to money had to pass on a rollpan and visor for mine. Guy had a ton os s10 parts though, I bet like 10-15 trucks, had long bed short bed ext cab, 2wd mostly but mabye a 4wd not sure, had s10 blazers 2 dr and 4 I think.

some was some wasn't.

I never asked about anything sb fullsize except him telling me about the hood price.

I can always call and ask or fb him.

He wanted 50 for a roll pan with a crack, new steel ones are only 70-80 on ebay and amazon, now fiberglass ones are more expensive new.

cab fairing, was 50, dang good deal. you can't find them and new they were over 200.

visor was 50 came down to 40, unlighted no bolts or caps.

heater box nothing in it was 20 for the outside part.

so the other day I'm on FB and I see some stuff on an s10 page talking about a wv s10 page, so I go over and join, start scrolling thru and find a post on sept 12.

I'm looking at pics of an s10 and think hmm that looks like the cd player in my s10,

sure enough found an owner back 2 or 3 owners before me had it listed, even started talking to him on fb, here's other pics he had of it.. one is awesome from way back when he got it I guess.

well looks like the 4.3 trans and computer might have all came from a 93 silverado.

The title and broke down by the lmc catalog I got says mine had 2.5 4 cyl from the factory.

The computer numbers were ran from some guy son fb and such and came back to a 93 silverado, and of course it being a 4l60e and them not coming out until 93 or newer. Plus it has a 93 cluster in it just noticed that the other day.
