Ok are the pcv and break booster currently connected to the big port on top or bottom?

by the way, I wanted to point out that I stand behind my work, so if anything is determined to be carb related, I'll take care of it, so don't worry about that.

Your a hell of a fella. I really don't think it's internal. Me and one of our mechanics are about to dive into it and will report back with what we find.

The pcv is on top on the front. Booster is on the bottom on the front.

The only one on the back is on the very top by the back. It's too small. The booster line just falls off it.

My booster is on the back, connected to a 3/8" piece of stainless tubing that is bolted to the bottom plate of the carb. It's a large port I know that, and it's not connected to the manifold, there is another port back there too but it has a 3-legged tee, and my cruise is hooked to it as well as the line to the trans and something else.

Starting to sound like a vacuum leak. Make sure the 4 carb mounting bolts are very snug

This is another thing I need to check regarding the stumble I'm having on mine, thanks for pointing that out.

Ok do you have a T fitting on the intake between the carb and distributor?

Yes. The big port is and overflow vent and is usually connected to the charcoal canister.

This is the T fitting I'm speaking of. This is another location for the booster to go. It's where I have mine connected.

There is a T in the back of the intake. 1 side runs into the firewall. The other side is cut off

Well it was sucking air between the gasket and the intake. Took the thick gasket off and put my thin one on that came with the adapter. Idles much better now, but lost all my pep. It is gutless now.
