So my shift indicator cable broke. Have new one but the tab that the cable runs around is broke. I have another cluster that is in rough shape. Its from a standard and that tab is just like new. Is it possible to cut that tab off and glue ect back on mine? Would it hold? Or something else someone has done? Used parts aren’t easy to get where I live.
Thanks

Cut off and glue on should work. Use good 2k epoxy glue, degrease and prep all parts good. A small reeinforcement plate would be good if it's possible to fit it somewhere.

A short screw with a sleeve over it run into the hole you're pointing may work?
