Someone is going to have to school me on this.

I have a 350 Turbo trans I'm using in an LS Swap. I want to put a new detent cable in it but cannot find the same hookup in the tans, I have the cable that slips into the hole on the bracket, I'll post a pic. All I'm finding is the cables with a small flat, I'll call it a block, with a hole in it. I've searched from 69-79, cars and trucks and the replacement cables are all with the small block and hole.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
