There are even some 4.3 guys who swap to the 2.8 v8 conversion mounts for strength.

and the nuts are factory welded to the raised mount

these mounts are the same height as the 4.3 mounts were so my engine sits in the same place just a bit longer on the front

Which means the trans mount, crossmember, OEM shifter linkage, cooling lines, driveshaft and all that ******** bolts right back in without mods.

Swapping a 4.3 S10 to a v8 is just about the easiest engine swap there is out there.

the only thing easier would be a 3.8 v6 in a vega direct bolt in using all stock gm parts.

but that's kinda why I held out for a 89 up blazer with the 4.3 I have had a couple chances to get a 2.8 blazer and passed on them

got the headers and the radiator today

got the headers loosely bolted on to test the fit they fit pretty good but I will need to adjust a few things.

radiator looks good but I have to go to work tonight so I can't play with it till days off.
