Installed flywheel and cut floor hole out with a jig saw, Came out clean. Removed top cover to reseal it. Looks great inside. Painted shifter and clutch fork. Went to put clutch in and it was too small. Ordering a new clutch kit first thing in the morning and should have it by 10.

Marked out my clutch pushrod hole and realized I was off but not too far. I noticed these dimples for the boot. I drilled the dimples with a pilot hole and then I cleaned off my mark, remarmaked it and drilled the hole with a hole saw and I think it all looks pretty good. I may have exaggerated hole by 1/4" but I'm confident the boot will cover it.

Tomorrow ill get in the new clutch and install transmission and start working on my next problem. Clutch linkage. ANYONE ELSE WITH A LINKAGE CLUTCH IS MORE THAN WELCOME TO SEND PICS OF THE LINKAGE GEOMETRY PLEASE lol

Transmission is in, I saved the bottom of trans for last to clean and paint on it. had my choice of rods and bell cranks. Found correct one and everything looks pretty good so far.
I need to make my own bracket for bell crank ball on frame. I found this 203 cross member that seems to fit everything, I just have to drill new holes.

Got cross member cleaned up painted and bolted in place. Holes drilled and mounted in now. Just need to find one bolt and 2 spacers to complete that. At least now I can work on bell crank linkages now that everything is where its going to be

I found this little metal strap in the ground around my garden lol (I often find random things) anyways I cut it in half and spot welded it to the automatic bracket and it works perfectly for my brake pedal switch.

Fyi, there’s a low spot / concave area formed into the raised center of the crossmember (to the driver’s side of the mounting bushings in the pic) this is for clearance for the CV joint in the front driveshaft. You might need flip it around to clear the driveshaft, if it clears let it ride.

Started making my bracket for the frame. Im using the dual shock bracker to attach it too because its right there and it uses 1/2" bolts. Seems to work pretty good. I pushed in the clutch a few times while someone turned the shaft and it disengages pretty good. Im sure I've got everything straight the way its supposed to be. I've looked at it allot and tested it a bit and I think its good now. Got it welded and painted for reassembly.

I appreciate the offer. Would be nice to see how the spring goes onto the clutch fork. I don't have the correct one but ill get a different one soon.

Clutch linkage is done i believe for now. Ill make any needed adjustments after first test drive but it seems to work good and smooth. I got my column back in. I had been saving a manual column for years and its gone i guess. Spent too much time yesterday looking for it so I just pulled of the shift lever and stuck it in lol
What's next should be transfer case so I can finish t-case shifter and linkage and then drivelines.
