That car was completely full of stuff. A lot of new parts in there found a few things I forgot about.

Got the car completely stripped nothing but the shell only thing I couldn’t get out was the key. Haven’t figured out how to get that sucker out of there. Looks like somebody went off-road with this car. It’s beat up underneath pretty bad. PO sure did a number on the transmission tunnel. I can’t believe somebody would do that.

Our weather has been pretty inclement lots of rain and flooding. now at the 3000 foot level we’re supposed to get between 50 and 100 inches of snow the next few days. this is for real I’m at 2070 so we won’t get that much but we’re preparing. I’m ready. Got gas and fuel delivered yesterday. Got 10 bins of wood in the shed plows on the four wheeler bucket on the tractor.

WTH!!!! @Craig Nedrow they couldn't figure out where to cut the hole for the shifter or WHAT???? That's almost as big a hole as my Nomad had when I bought it!! Got a new tunnel from Ralph Roberts in Vancouver, WA and Tony, my son, glued it in.

Looks like the key is out. Or is it broken? If you're needing to get the lock cylinder out there should be a hole, turn the key backwards one click, insert a paper clip or something about that diameter, press and it should come right out

I was hoping that folks would chime in, so thanks Perry. I am looking for something like that. The floor is easy, got an old crusty c20 hood I will use for that, and a few other spots. That should pretty much complete the body work. Then on to the fun stuff….

They don't have humps for cars like they do for trucks? Probably not with the massive variety of car bodies out there, compared to a series run of trucks using the same hump whether low or high

Just depends on application. It would seem that AMD, @TotalyHucked ,may have a hump for a 62-67 ChevyII......covers a lot of years? I got the one for the Nomad from Ralph Roberts Chevy Parts in Vancouver WA.....But he died and the heirs didn't keep things going, so:33:

There's a guy local to me, Chevy 2 Only Nova Parts, he's been at it for decades.. I haven't seen him lately but at one time he had any, and everything for those cars.

I have found Repair tunnels, but they’re 400 bucks and I’m not paying that I’ll make my own. I used to work in a sheet metal shop. I know how to do that stuff. Had to stop work yesterday and push snow. We got 5 inches. Finish stripping the car yesterday.

That's some cool stuff. Is that a newpaper clipping from when it had been listed in classified ads before? I wish i could see better. I like that Chevy parts patch or sticker whatever it is.

Went to town yesterday, talked to my buddy that owns the best body shop in town, and has a nice square as well. Told him about my K20 and asked for advice on paint, He said if the body is really nice, (it is,) to go base/clear coat. Went to the local paint (westco) store and bought a metallic green with clear,. Also bought some black paint for the interior, firewall etc. It uses a flattner to achieve the sheen I want, (60-70%), all told anothes 900+, it is PPG, paint. Here we go!!

Starting on assembly today, still have some body work to do, but will install the front end to make it a roller. Will show you the progress, if Jan will leave me alone.
