Looks like the key is out. Or is it broken? If you're needing to get the lock cylinder out there should be a hole, turn the key backwards one click, insert a paper clip or something about that diameter, press and it should come right outGot the car completely stripped nothing but the shell only thing I couldn’t get out was the key. Haven’t figured out how to get that sucker out of there. Looks like somebody went off-road with this car. It’s beat up underneath pretty bad. PO sure did a number on the transmission tunnel. I can’t believe somebody would do that.
I was hoping that folks would chime in, so thanks Perry. I am looking for something like that. The floor is easy, got an old crusty c20 hood I will use for that, and a few other spots. That should pretty much complete the body work. Then on to the fun stuff….WTH!!!! @Craig Nedrow they couldn't figure out where to cut the hole for the shifter or WHAT???? That's almost as big a hole as my Nomad had when I bought it!! Got a new tunnel from Ralph Roberts in Vancouver, WA and Tony, my son, glued it in.
They don't have humps for cars like they do for trucks? Probably not with the massive variety of car bodies out there, compared to a series run of trucks using the same hump whether low or highI was hoping that folks would chime in, so thanks Perry. That's some cool stuff. Is that a newpaper clipping from when it had been listed in classified ads before? I wish i could see better. I like that Chevy parts patch or sticker whatever it is.That car was completely full of stuff. A lot of new parts in there found a few things I forgot about.
