Front end was not a perfect fit, but it fit got it straight and square will put the upright arms on today. They forgot to send bolts and they’re really expensive so I’m going to wait for those as well but at least I can get that started and then move onto the rear end while I’m waiting for the front end bolts feeling pretty good about it

Pics tell the story. Mustang two front and stuff is from Full Tilt Street Rods. Clay is a good guy, parts are quality. Have had trouble getting parts, and getting all the parts. so I’m missing a bunch of bolts to bolt it on the front clip waiting for those, but decided to continue fab up with what I had.

So I bolted the down tubes onto the firewall loosely, positioned them on the clip and then clamp them down. bolted everything tight, and welded in place. I then let them cool in place. so down the road I should be able to pull the whole front end off as a unit and it should line back up if I need to do that.

So the spindle, hub, calipers and disc are from CPP Corvette big break kit for Mustang ll. I will have to use at least 17 inch wheels. My buddy Longie, ( he is a Longmire hence the nickname name) has been up and we are having fun building the car. He has some 18 inch wheels that might fit to make it a roller that would be nice to be able to roll it around the shop. This morning I will remove the 7/16 hub bolts, and replace them with the half inch ones. They’re required at Bonneville.

After everything is assembled and rolling around, I will scruff up everything with 120 prime and paint with PPG lama base. I’m looking for a 60 to 70% Sheen, but that will be down the road a little bit probably a couple weeks.

That’s part of the front end stuff that I got from Clay at Full Tilt Street Rods I could measure and see if I can find any numbers. The driver side has not been assembled yet brother, I’m doing that this morning. I’ll post photos.

The roundy round cars often use the thread-in ball joints as well.

Lol, it's possible. I doubt it though, since GM never used them, as far as I know.

I didn't know the hoard of tools were gm-specific, but that makes sense because it was a gm auction

Only reason I have them.....I worked the line in the business and mopares were ALWAYS needing parts replaced ;) .......I kept them and they make wonderful "pushers" for many things on my press!!!

I am just trying to preserve what's left of the Nova. This is under the dash, got a couple coats of black satin on there. Scuffed it with green scotchbrite, wax and grease remover, paint.
