    Yes it can. I agree tho, run wire from battery straight to hot lead on dizzy. I replaced ign module and pickup on my dizzy to find out it was my ignition switch the whole time. It would miss at idle and cut out while drivin. Did it more after it warmed up.

    Yeah, those dog ears are the advance. That wouldnt cause a no spark issue tho. If everything is new besides the pickup that has to be it. Ive seen a PCM do this but it usually just goes out and aint intermittent.

    We did one at the shop. Customer broke a timing chain on a 5.3 and we had the 6.0 sittin in the shop. Just replace engine and PCM. All the wires and sensors are the same. If you use the 6.0 heads you will need to use the 6.0 manifolds also. The 5.3 manifolds wouldnt fit. Cant remember if the...

    Center/Center offset will be fine for turndowns. Smaller the pipe = TQ larger diameter = HP if Im remembering correctly. What mods you got done to the truck?

    Ignition switch? Mine was havin intermittent no spark problems but I have a toggle for the ignition. I guess it would be the same tho...... If you replaced everything else I dont see what the problem could be. Pickup maybe?

    Well, like the title says..... No pull in any gear. No reverse or forward movement. No leaks, fluid still looks clean and doesnt smell burnt. No noise comin from anywhere...... I was runnin a ACC Boss Hogg convertor..... Think I blew it?

    Long tubes make a difference. If you dont go to long tubes its a waste, just keep stock ones.

    True. I think I might of set mine at TDC then turned the dizzy slightly to where it would fire before then put the cap and stuff on. Either way. Its easy to get it 180 out tho. It seems like Im always 180 out the first fire. Dunno why tho lol

    I smeared alot of lube all over my cam lobes and even ran these cam and lifters in a previous motor then re used em. They werent pitted and had swirl marks on the lifter face so I went for it.     Are they all the same? It says they all go to diferent dizzys. I can always return it if its not the same. Or I can just order the Pertronix one from Summit since theres no hurry. AZ is just more convenient.

    I believe that 3# oil ring is broke and obviously nobody would just re-ring one cylinder. While I do that I was gonna swap these flat tops for some forged pistons, maybe up the comp a lil bit. My compression is good all around (150 +/-) on all cylinders. My problem is burnin oil at higher RPMs...

    Installed a temporary e-fan off some foreign car. It dont push much but my clutch fan locked up. I have 2 fans from 05 Grand Prix that Im puttin in this weekend along with a new vac advance for the dizzy. Mine went out. SLlllluuuuuuugggishhh
