If I can find a decent used pair, it'll get some vortec heads, mild cam, performer or similar intake, and the 1406 Carb that's on the truck now. I figure that'll be a good improvement over the smog headed 305 in it now. It runs good and smooth, but wont pull a greasy string out of a cats ass. :D

Make sure to have em checked Ive seen alot of people buy "good" clean vortec heads only to get them to the machine shop to find cracks

Maybe you need some 5.38 rear gears. If that don't pull greasy string out of a cat's ass, then you might need to add more grease.

Its got 373s on 33s. As long as its flat it does OK. Go up a hill and it seems like it really struggles. If It were my DD, id be pretty ill about it.

3.73 isn't a bad gear at all. I think you'd be impressed with a mild 350 and 3.73 gears. It's a fact, Wee O Five truck motors are gutless wonders.
