Thanks! It is fairly clean. The interior is pretty rough but it’s to be expected for a truck that sat outside for so long. My grandpa bought it in 77 and I inherited it when he passed. I’m hoping to replace the dash and seats and repaint the rest of the interior trim

Here is was in 77

Someday I'm gonna get an old roundeye and put a camper on it or tow a camper with it

How many of you have a bone stock/completely original squarebody out here? Original mileage? Let's see them!
Here it is---One of those story you here about--I got this from a 95 year old Lady who past away and this truck is in show-room condition inside and under--I mean CLEAN!! Never had trailer hitch on it--Low miles--NICE!

I bought my 1975 Scottsdale K20 from the original owners widow a couple years ago in OR. It had 80,000 miles on it and now has 84,000.
The full time transfer case has been modified to part time and locking hubs installed. I just replaced the original shocks, leaking p/s pump and hoses and flushed the cooling system and replaced the hoses. Other than that, it's the original 350 V8, 4 bbl Quadrajet and TH 350 transmission with 4:10 gears. no rust on it, always garaged but it does have dents and scrapes. It has been maintained by a dealer all its years, the owner worked at Weiler Chevrolet in Oregon City for 41 years.
The seat needs reupholstered but a seat cover works fine for now.
I also replaced the canopy with a used steel Gem Top canopy and will install an in bed spare tire mount. It's had a rubber mat in the bed all its life so the paint in most of the bed is like new. It was a commuter and stock hauler most of its life. The guys daughter drove it to high school and to haul her show herefords.
I want to keep it stock down to the single exhaust and original carburetor. 1975 was the last year for 3/4 tons to not have a catalytic converter. It's a simple, durable and very reliable truck. When I drive in the desert, I rarely need 4x4 because it gets such great traction.
I'm proud of it, dents and all, I'm very close to it!

Can't find a pic of my 78 Silverado. Rebuilt the motor with some go fast stuff, replaced the hood and rims but no other changes from my hand. Previous owner replaced rear bumper (I think) and drilled god awful holes in the front bumper to move the bumper stops outward to put on an aftermarket pushgaurd. Definitely restorable, should sell it to someone with more time, money, and passion. Will try to snap a pic today.

1984 6.2 diesel. Loaded with options, including 3.73 gears, rear skid plate, quad shocks, and it had the tiny mirrors which I converted to the Mickey Mouse mirrors. 134k when I bought it, 139 now, and it's been a plow truck since I bought it 10 years ago in

Eugene Oregon. The Diffy crown and spider gears blew up two weeks ago, so I made the plunge for a Spartan Lunchbox Locker. Quite difficult to install, if you've watched my other thread here, but now that it's in, it's like going from 2 wheel drive to 4wd when I plow and in rear-wheel drive. I think the middle band was a cameo Ivory, like my 84 diesel Suburban, but someone painted it gold, probably when it was pretty new, and did quite a bit of a fancy pinstriping. It was a real hack job when I bought it, and I've just done the bare minimum to keep it running. But it always starts even when it's below zero, and except for a couple of axles and now the diffy problem, I really haven't replaced much on it

I also have this 1990 K5 Jimmy. 130k, from Texas. It looks like a one owner truck, absolutely ZERO rust! Original paint, but it seems like the top was painted white. Was this done at the dealer when it was new? A few door dings, a bent piece of interior trim, a couple cuts in the bumper rub strips, one crack in the middle of the dash

Some good looking brown and cream trucks. That was what mine was originally. Then it was painted brown and gold and then I just had it painted green
