Run the wire you already have and another wire to the cap. Run the 2nd wire from the cap down to the r on the starter solenoid. At cranking the solenoid will provide 12 v to the cap in Run the wire you have will provide 12 v to the cap. Point fired GM squares had 2 wires that provided power to the coil. 1 came from the key switch and provided power to the coil through a resistance wire during run. A second wire went from the coil to the starter r terminal to provide power to the coil during cranking. Add the wire to provide power during cranking back. No need for relay, just wire it back like gm had it. Also I'd have run my power lead to the firewall junction,in place of the original resistance wire, but that's just me.
