Wish I had done this earlier. It was super easy and cheap.
Yeah, I've thought about rear floods just for pulling boat out of the lake in the dark. I see how easy to add into backup though. Definitely shouldn't take out one of those trash cans.

Snapped a pic after getting the injectors fixed. Car quest sold me the wrong injectors. New ones from another parts store popped right in place. Now im wanting to add a smallish size tach to the truck as im getting it ready to pull my Z28 to the track.

Any pointers on a small tach recommendation ?

I like the bosch on on my 82 I mounted on the steering column. I think it's about 3 inches. It's held up for about 6 years now. Got it at advanced auto in town.

Not much going on right now- been kinda busy. Got to thinking about some more carb tuning. The 70/37 metering rod is a touch too rich, the 73/37 is a little too lean. Found a rarely known 71/42 that I’m going to try out directly from Edelbrock. While I was at it, ordered a fender cover from them and a classic Vic Edelbrock t-shirt and got free shipping.

Haven’t gotten to the Bilsteins and the spring spacer as of yet- got notification that the kitchen cupboard guy will arrive soon so we went into tear down mode to be ready for demo day.

Thats what I have on my truck. I have mine screwed into the metal. The tach housing rotates to the right when in gear. It was blocking the speedo when it was fixed stationary in the middle. The tach is over 5 years old.
