I haven't done diddly squat to my squares lately. Been busy with Camaros. I did drive this one to work the last two days though. So that's around 160 miles right there.

Although, in the bed is an axle to fix another square of mine.

Picked up a bug catcher and filter adapter (both shown in pic) and cable kit (not shown) from Alkydigger to mount in place of the velocity stacks. I want to do away with the hood scoop.

Edit: Yes, it is the real deal not one of those toys most places sell as a carb scoop this has the 8 injector ports and can actually be used with mechanical or electronic injection or plumbed for NOS and bolts to a blower without the adaptor.

Driving it counts as doing something to it, right? When I got home from work, my middle daughter wanted me to drive her to her friend's house, so I did. Without me teaching her, she knows that it's best to ride in a truck with your arm on the window sill.

Are you removing the carbs & going with injection?

No keeping the carbs just swapping in the Bug catcher and adaptor that takes a filter element in place of the velocity stacks so I can run without the hood scoop. The stacks even with filters and lids can collect water and is the only reason I have the hood scoop in the first place. And was the cheaper setup at the time. The eventual plan is to build another blown big block, so I'll already have the hat when I get to that point.

Finished buffing and did a finish wash to get the oversprayed buffing compound off.
