Oil and Filter. Penn grade 10/30 and B&G MOA (motor oil additive). Valve tap finally gone. At 107,000 and 44 years old the motors doing fine. Gotta smog it next month (reinstall some stuff).

I finally finished the rally wheels I picked up a few weeks ago.
I found it impossible to find the original rally wheel paint most suggest up here in Canada. Some also advised that Krylon Dull aluminum was a good match. Also not available north of the 49th.
Krylon sells a metallic Aluminum in Canada which may be the same thing so I decided to give it a try. Turned out ok, hopefully it lasts.
Where did you find those black GMC logos, most of the black ones I've seen are 2" and therefore way to small.

Finished stereo stand/cup holder console(crude but inconspicuously flat black)
Straighten the crooked body trim on the passenger side from a hurried install after paint job.
New air cleaner, a little rerouting the CPV, a little clean up.
I like it, and then you don't have to cut the original opening in the dash.

I didn't source them, they were on the wheels when I purchased the truck.
I did see some 2-1/2" emblems listed on eBay. I have no idea what the quality is like.

Well, it's been a busy-ish last few weeks for me. Rebuilt the Holley and got it tossed back onto the motor. Definitely needed it after not being on the road for 25 years. Got her dialed in, timed, new plugs, cap and rotor and a few test hits down the road. Quick few runs past the statie's house down the road from me with a thumbs up of approval while he was washing his GNX lol. Took the truck to a local brewery this past Sunday for Cars & Coffee and had a great time with the wife and kid. Truck is far from done, but what's the point if you can't enjoy it for the now :)

blower motor was intermittently not working on high and then all speeds on the 1990 burb. popped in a new high speed relay and back to working like normal. which is good when it is mid 90s and high humidity....

A couple months ago I got a letter from my Insurance Co. asking me to enter the Blazer for evaluation as a certified Collectible vehicle. I figured why not, sent the info (a bunch of data and photos) in and promptly forgot all about it.

Today I got this! Probably means next to nothing but I like it!

The good ones are expensive now.

I got the 8.99 AC belt for my Chevelle because that's the only one they had in stock. It made it about two days before it suddenly snapped. I'll be replacing it with the $36 dollar, name brand belt.

That sucks i didn't realize they had gone up that much. Didn't think I'd see the day of $35 v belts.

It’s sad but half of it is sticks n bricks stores keep charging more as they get less business. Napa gets over $300 for a set of fuel filters for my diesel. Equal or better quality Fleetguard, Racor or Mopar (also fleetguard) are $120-140 online.
But the kicker is, is over half the time I go for a part or supplies at the store I end up ordering it on my phone before I walk out when they don’t have it.

Over $120 ish for a 5/8 x 115” v belt for the mower. Called about a dozen mower shops including a couple out of state that carry the brand of mower I have. Napa was the only one I could source in a day. Otherwise a week to order online.
