Put these mud flaps on that I’ve had kicking around. Got brackets from the junkyard recently and thought I’d see how they looked. They are net required where I live and I don’t drive this truck on the highway. So they would mostly just be for protecting the paint on the truck.

But I’m rather concerned about how close they are to the wheels. Even with the anti-sail brackets they just look to close. What do you guys think?

Gave her a bath, vacuumed the interior, and even put some Megiuars Tire Shine on. Then did some errands around town.

The depth of those rear wheels makes em look killer.

Yeah, they do have a helluva dish to them, haha.

Just got back from a ‘round town cruise. Stopped at the lake for a spell, great way to celebrate my 52nd birthday.

Did you achieve long hauler status?

Of course! The wagon is the definition of cool reliability and awesomeness

...You know I had to say that since you think it's ugly, lol.

I drove up and parked the 84 in a car show I'm not a member of. Lmfao!

We usually have a local car show at the dairyland eaten place. Kinda like a sonic. It's usually just people who have a old car or truck they're working on or have finished. Not this time. Lol

Do I parked it and walked around because I got there early. There was probably 10 or 15 cars there. I bought a coke and kinda walked around. I started to notice that more and more cars were coming in. Then I saw a sign that said 65th year. That's when I realized it was a car club. Lol

Then I heard a guy say this street is going to be packed. I was going to be trapped in there for a couple of hours. So I just pulled out of there slowly and drove home. Lol

Here's some pics I took before I realized it.

I've been to hundreds of club-hosted, local car shows. Never once has it been a show for club members only.
