Cool!!:rocking:

"High compression 425s and early 455s were painted red and the air clearners were an orange/red, definately a different shade from the engine. Low compression 425s had black air cleaners."

That makes my 65 olds motor the 390 hp 425 for sure.....

Pardon me while I :manos:

Can't tell in the pic for sure if that's a low profile instake, but it is, that's a Tornado motor and should have the big valve heads too. Are those A or B heads on the motor?

The front tractor tires and suspension links were hanging up on the ice ledge. Could not move it with 44,000 lbs worth of winching finally got the ice to start breaking when we put 76,000 lbs on it.

This had to be my best one. Driving a trail through some timber hit a run that was deeper then I thought and front end caught on a high spot.

I don't know about that. I can trash talk Ford now. I sold my last one. Never thought I would, but didn't have a choice. No Fords now. Just 6 squares, soon to be 5 and eventually down to 3 I hope.

Its really hard to see, but this my worst stuck.
I was traveling east on the highway and turned onto gravel going north, well i turned my tires, and they just skidded on the gravel and i slid off into the ditch.

Didnt do anything to the truck, and it took 1 yank in 4wd on pavement to get it out.

It scared the Living **** out of me tho, that whole Slo-mo thing is real.

That was last spring.

The 350 that came in my 87 V2500 had the plug, but was not a 4 bolt. Interesting though.

Been there done that !!! No damage to the truck. Got pulled out by a 2wd on dry pavement. Had some good flex but the Rt Rr was off the ground justa little.
