I got a set of cross bucks from the 50s. They haven't really changed much over the years. I hung them up in my shop today. Hung up a couple of mini surf boards I got on our last cruise.

Was sent these the other day from a 90 plus year old man that retired from the state of Louisiana.

Will talk to him to make sure I have the story correct but:

When the Baton Rouge arsenal swapped from flintlocks, to percussion muskets they had hundred of French flints for the old flintlocks, and seems the just went outside and poured them on the ground (rough guessing, late 1840s-1850s)

In the late 1970s or early 80s, the were doing some work around the old arsenal building, and the “trash pile” of flints was found.

I don't have any vintage auto related stuff outside of some old tools that belonged to my grandfather and great grandfather I have vintage guitar stuff.

77 Morley Wah boost, 80s Boss compressor/sustainer, 80s Big Muff. Early Cliff burton/Metallica Kill em all sound. (why some people get it wrong and say he used a Wah fuzz I'll never know)

I don't use these anymore as I have modern versions of them on my current pedal board.

Used to have an old 70s Rickenbacker bass and 80s Ampeg 4x12 tube amp setup but sold them to a collector/active vintage metal player. Just too big bulky and expensive for me to just fiddle with.
Nothin special but i have a fender squire strat. Ive owned it since about 2006 or 7.... I was pretty fresh outta high school and a guy at my job at the time told me hed teach me to play. Needless to say i watched him play it and never learned. (Just like dad said i would, i wasted my money). I gave it to my step son some years ago as he was learning to play from a friend and was doing better then i ever could but since he passed i got it back. I originally bought it from the small local music store as a package that came with the guitar, amp and all the start up lil pieces. Since getting it back again ive thought about actually learning finally.
