It moves. Clutch needs some adjustment, the grab point is super high. Hydraulics work smooth after a couple cycles to bleed things.

Found out the radiator has at least one or two holes in it. If you leave the cap loose it doesn’t leak. Also managed to stick my thumb in the fan. It’s still there and no blood or damage other than a big old spot under the nail now. Oops.

Got the timing set and had to adjust the governor linkages as it would only idle down to 900rpm, spec is 450-475. I really believe this tractor was not running very well before the pump failure/cam break. It “surges” when idled up, I have a couple of suspicions on why that is, if you hold the throttle constant overpowering the governor it stays steady. I think the compensator spring might be weak and causing it to bounce.

It also does not appear to charge. I did the procedure to polarize the generator, but no luck. I’ll need to do some testing and see if the generator makes any output or if the regulator is the issue.

Bonus is this nice brake pad that was laying in the O’Reillys parking lot. I bet it only just started making noise.
