2000 6.5 turbo on a 82 6.2 diesel?

What the others have said, but also looking at the condition of things under that hood, I'd go through that turbo before using it. Some "bro" has cut up the inlet to the turbo and for whatever reason turned the wastegate vacuum controller to point upwards. There's just a lot going on in that engine compartment that makes me a little wary...

And truthfully, you shouldn't use that turbo to begin with, it does not fit the engine. Go to an hx35 if you want power AND reliability, because you don't really get either of those with that gm turbo.

for any that may want to a 6.5 sap and keep the electronic ds4 pump and go mechanical db2 I just learned not too long ago that the optical sensor in the ds4 is now end of life and is out of production what ever is out there is and used are the only option
