Cracking back into the column

I finished a complete rebuild of my column last year and reinstalled. Everything was working fine, and tested, albeit not while running, to make sure my new shift linkage engaged my Trans properly. Fast forward to today - my wiring harness is finally finished, so I'm trying to start her up, but I can't shift. Something in there is catching and not allowing the shift lever to move how it should. Really not looking forward to tearing it all down aagin
