Has any one out there done this? The 79 K5 already has a 2wd trany in it and I was wondering if I could pull the front axle and springs and get a 2wd set up from a compatable doner with an A arm set up. I am looking to do a 4/6 drop. Any help would be great. Looked around and did a search but did not find any thing.

It's been done, make sure to take lots of measurements and be prepared for lots of hole drilling and rivet busting.

i do know the rear spring hangars are different between 2 and 4 wheel drive so the 2 wheel drive ones will need to be used
