Does a lift kit exist for 2wd 79 c10?

Hi all,
I'm having a hell of a time trying to find a lift kit for my 79 c10 2wd. Only thing I found was a YouTube video of a complete tear down with different parts welded and such.

Anybody have some advice? Looking to put some 35s on it and nothing crazy. Maybe a 6in max?

You can probably get 2 inches out of the front. Never more. Get a half ton 4x4. I was young once too and wanted a lifted truck. Bought a 70 c10 asked the same question. Not worth it on a half ton, now swapping a 1 ton to 4x4 is different in my eyes. K10's are the most PLENTIFUL squarebodies out there.

Main story is you won't get more than 2 inches out of the front on a c10 even if you can it'll ride like a 1 ton im sure.

Yup. You can get a couple inches with heavy C20 or C30 springs, but that's about it. There used to be a 2wd lift kit available, but that's been gone for a couple decades.

I've got a C20 with 35's. It required a little fender trimming.

I know on our '89 Caprice police packages used the larger 1/2 ton brakes (12" rotors). I believe regular Caprices used 11". You may looks at some of the lift spindles for "B" GM cars.

Its not happening on a 2wd without a torch and welder. Not worth it. 35s are for 4 wheel drive trucks. Very hard on a half ton, and would probably suck to drive. Put the right size tires on there and drive the wheels off of it!! Advice.

I saw a C20 lifted 4 inches before, it was a 67-72 truck. They made a big block of metal to go between the frame and the cross member for the front suspension, and I have no idea how they raised the rear, may have been similar with a big block of metal to relocate the control arms down away from the frame. For the longest time I thought it was a 4x4 until I saw it parked somewhere and noticed it had independent front suspension just like my '65 C20. It looked cool but it was pointless as it couldn't do anything a K Truck could unless it was on paved roads. Somewhat apples to oranges with a 67-72 versus a 73-87 C Truck, except the fronts are basically the same.

They shared rotors, but the Caprice spindles are basically the same as the A and F body spindles. You can use them to put the big brakes on say, a '79 Camaro. If you use an '89-'92 1LE rotors, you even retain the 5x4.75 bolt pattern.

I was looking to lift the front of my c30 a bit to level it. Found a 1.5 inch coil spacer block.
Is that possible at all?

I'd be interested in how they think they could get an 1.5 out of spring spacers lol. I've seen those twisty style ones before, that's the only way I can picture it somewhat working. But I'm pretty sure those are prone to falling out. Or is it like a modern style where it somehow sits on the end of the spring?

Obviously you aren't worried about ride quality lol. Might as well decompress the coil spring and weld a couple pieces of flat strap to about 2/3 of the coil spring while spreading it lol

Well the way it looks, is that its like a block that sits between the spring and the spring perch in the upper a arm, just spaces the spring down so the lower a arm rides lower... maybe. Idk.

And yeah, no worried about ride, that truck rides horrible anyway. That short witg HD 1 ton springs, its a brick. Say bye to your kidneys.

That would probably be your best bet. I would sure HATE doing that job though, straight to the danger zone lol. Would probably need a real good spring compressor.

I used pucks/ spacers like above on my bronco to lift it back in the day. They worked decent
