      Craig,

Would your K30 happen to still have the GVWR/GCWR sticker on either the driver’s side door or glovebox? Mine is faded to the point that it is illegible and I need those figures to title & register it here in PA. Per the google box, the GVWR is 9200 and GCWR is 15000. Can you confirm?

      Thanks,
      Eric

I do still have it and its legible. Give me you email and I can send it. FYI my truck has 3.73 gears which I learned lowers the GVW to 9200 from 10,000 even though I have a 454. I have a copy of the trailer capacities for our trucks and can scan and copy. Max trailer weight listed is 12,000 with a 5th wheel or king pin-type hitch and that's with 4.56 gears.

I was reading your built on the one ton. Where did you get the tailgate lights from? LMC only has chrome ones.
      Thanks

Here's what I used. The housings are closest to the OEM ones.
        Grote #G1502 (3 LEDs lamps)
        Maxxima #M20326 - Black housing
OEM Part #GM 14040878 (Complete both lamp and housing)

Hey Craig, happy Thanksgiving day. Was wondering what Retrosound model you bought, as I am NOT a dash cutter. Did you just retire. Have a blessed day!

Happy Thanksgiving to you. I got the Hermosa Model. It really helped having the OEM radio to set it up, as the dash openings for the shafts are offset. I retired about 5 years ago after working 27 years. I worked for Brentwood PD in the SF Bay Area.

I recently read in one of your posts that you are a retired office...Whereabout? I worked for Phoenix Police Department for 3.5 years and now work for a suburban agency north of Pittsburgh.

I worked for Antioch PD for 11 years and Brentwood PD for 16. They are adjoining cities in the eastern part of the SF Bay Area. I got out of the rat race five years ago and moved to the Sierra foothills about and hour east of Sacramento. My wife's best friend lives in Goodyear. Her brother works for them. Mike Miller K-9 officer.
