Workin in a gas station early in life, a guy comes in in a 56 chevy 2 dr sedan,opens the trunk and starts mixing an additive. marvel mystery oil, some octane boost and some other stuff in an unmarked bottle. Probably about a quarts worth. Dumps it in the filler and fills up the tank. Asked what that was all about ,he just smiles and says it runs better with it. He got in pulled out on the street and lit em up for about a half a block. Sounded sweet at probably 6500 or 7 grand!!! Good old days!!!

Changed oil yesterday. Been about 20 months since the last one. Had put a little over a pint of Marvel Mystery oil in a few weeks ago to help clean gunk up if any.
I used a red Purolator filter and Traveller brand 15w40 Ck/SN oil. I know some of y'all like those details.

Had to pull the one spade terminal off separately- I knew it was funky, and should have changed it a while ago.

One Borg Warner DS111 later, I can haz lights again!
Local Advance had one !
15.99 - lifetime warranty. LMC's is like 6, but with shipping , probably equals out.
Now that it is on - Kwestion.
Is it worth spraying that spade connector ( disconnected, of course ) with electrical cleaner ?

not sure about the trucks, but I had one go out in my 68 camaro. It was shorting to the floor board. I isolated it with rubber.

@bucket - cleaned the connection with fine sandpaper and electrical cleaner, and used the dielectric grease.
Maybe next trip "down there" I will have a new connector to install.
Not like it is real hard to get to...

Reconnected the ground to the sending unit (I broke it when fixing the lines).
Broke the tire beads, removed the weights and dumped in 8oz of airsoft bb's.
Fixed some HVAC ductwork that was falling down.
Found out I have a 400ci engine, which it was supposed to have according to the VIN, and 3.42's in the axles.
If anyone is wondering how I broke the beads on the tires... look at all that salt
