Nice! Still can’t figure out how General got away with copying BFG AT tread. BFG patent must have expired or something…..
Those are great tires btw.

The patent must have expired long ago. I can't remember the name of them now, but 20+ years ago there was an off-brand tire that was a copy of the BFG AT. They sold them in my area for maybe 10 years.

I wondered that as well when I first saw the AT/2. Been running them on the jeep since 2002, the trucks have them too. I like them over the BFG, the AT/2 and AT/X seem to out perform BFG in the scenarios I have ran both BFG and General. They are great tires. Added bonus, Sandy looks way better with these installed

I was waiting for a business to open this morning and saw a Tahoe roll by. It's front was higher and the wheel well space was more uniform front and back. I like the look of that. The rake on Sandy isn't bad, but it's a 4x4, the front needs to be as high as the back. Looks like I have some torsion bar adjusting to do.

It’s super easy and with the miles they be saggin a bit likely.
And it’ll handle better. Little stiffer less like a couch.

The adjusting bolts may or may not be adjusted the same amount and that is normal. Simply adjust both sides up the same about. So basically if one bolt is adjusted 3/16" farther out than the other one, run that bolt in until 3/16" of thread is still showing, then run the other bolt all the way in.

It varies from truck to truck, but that will get you about 1.5" gained in ride height.

Correct. And/or measure ride height and make it the same regardless of difference in the adjustment underneath.

Pfffft…. That thing is clean as a whistle from the left coast. It don’t need no penetration lube!
