Opinions on best newish Suburban or Tahoe

A little late to the fray, but any pre-'07 Tahoe or Suburban is definitely the bees knees. I admittedly bought my '06 Tahoe for the drivetrain. It was too nice to gut and I've already put 4k miles on it.

Having searched A LOT, most Yukons are also Denalis. Especially 2007+ in my area. Dunno how far you're willing to go, but I know out west there is a lot of 4wd Tahoes/Suburbans/Yukons.

I am out west, and have seen a ton of nice ones. Going to look at a 2005 4x4 tomorrow. It looks new, but that is just a good cleaning. It is straight, seats look good, except for the pocket on the back of the passenger seat, the top is torn away. Other than that, the vehicle looks solid.

I think 50% of them in Ohio were the light gold or pewter color.

I want to thank everyone that provided information in this thread. It was invaluable and helped me finally decide what to get.

I haven't had a chance to do much, got back yesterday evening and been busy all day today.
