It's not mine, but my friend was alerted a couple weeks ago this was going to be available, and cheap. He decided to jump on it.
It's a 1964 Ford 2000, the good, it is complete, has good rubber, has been kept inside for as long as the previous owners have had it, they used it with a finish mower. It is a 5 speed, so it has a live PTO, whereas a 4 speed would not be a live PTO. Already setup for 12v and the steering is pretty tight too. According to the tach it has 900hours on it. Not sure if that is accurate or not.
The bad is the hydraulic pump had locked up and broke the camshaft, which on one of these requires splitting the tractor to remove the cover plate and the gear that drives the hydraulic pump so slide the cam out.
The good about the bad, is the cam broke but the front timing gear survived, yet to be determined the condition of the pump drive gear and pump gear. Parts are quite available for these 134 4 cylinders (used on the jubilees to the 2000s) so sourcing what we need shouldn't be an issue.
