I'm currently working on my 1981 c10 chevy, and I've found wires coming from my 4wd transfercase. I have no idea where they're from or where do they go or if they're even stock at all. Anyone has had something similar? Images related.

Should be a light to illuminate the shifter indicator and also a switch there to provide ground to turn on the 4wd light in the dash.

The serial number is from a c10, so its a c10
That's not how it works...

My k20 has a k30 VIN, from a similar body swap situation to yours, but that doesn't make it a one ton.

Go to the parts store and ask what transfer case is in your c10.
