put a street demon on the 350 long time ago before the LS swap. Was happy with it.Shhhhh…
It’s a 625 Street Demon, definitely shares some design cues and similarities to ye olde Thermoquad. Which is part of the reason I was curious to try it.
All I’ve done was bolt it onto the intake and hook the fuel line up. Might have adjusted the idle speed a touch, haven’t touched the mixture screws. Not bad so far.
Besides if we want to get down to it, Quadrajets ended up on small block Chryslers, and Carter made Quadrajets for Rochester when Rochester could not keep up with demand. So in a way it’s like extended family. Right?
I like the tread pattern on those. Kind of reminds me of a dirt sprint car tire.Yeah, Eagle GT came on Camaros, Montes, 2wd S10's and some sporty fwd's too. I believe the +4's didn't come along until the early 90's. The GT+4 came original on my dad's Bonneville SSE in '93.
Speaking of old Goodyears, you might appreciate these ones I found (in a ditch) a few weeks ago. They are "Eagle M+S" snow tires in the Iroc/GTA size. "V" speed rated too!
