I hooked up the heater hoses to the heater core of the '77 camo truck. I had bypassed the heater core last summer so not as much heat would come into the cab during our August trip. I also looked into why the blower motor doesn't move much air. Apparently the fan runs on low, no matter where the blower switch is positioned. I'll look into that another day. A little heat is way better than no heat.

I also went out to my '77 K5 and discovered my minty original GM dash pad is cracked now. Bummer.

Blower relay or resistor may be bad, common on these trucks. And they didn't use a heater control valve, so the hot water circulates through the core all the time. That does affect AC performance so for our Texas Burbs, Dad installed a manual shut-off valve inline.

This company also makes a superfood non dairy creamer that we carry at my Costco. I think it's a good brand. Says they're certified USDA organic, vegan, gluten free, non GMO verified, and Kosher (the circled U). We also have ready to drink teas and sodas from other brands that have the lion's mane herbs in them.
Yes, same company. We have bought the creamer from Costco and also from the health food store, but we typically buy it directly from the Laird website. In today's society, eliminating a third party as often as possible, especially when it comes to supplements and food, ensures you're getting the correct product. Costco has good brands, even their in-house stuff is good quality. The Laird creamers are made with coconut milk, so better for the arteries than dairy.

The owners are Laird Hamilton, and Gabrielle Reece. Both are very successful, high level athletes in their day. The company is definitely good to go.

For those who are curious, he did a podcast with Shawn Ryan, that's like 5 hours long if you want every detail of the owner's life. It's what made me start using his products.

Sorry to add to the thread drift. I just wanted to give people an idea of who owns the company, and a place to listen to the owner cover his life and beliefs and lifestyle. That helps me make decisions on companies I support, or don't support.

Same. I heard about the product on Shawn Ryan, but didn't know about the interview. He has some good interviews on his channel.

It's a non-AC rig. There's no relay, just a resistor. I haven't done any testing at all, but my money is on a crusty blower switch.

Only thing I’ve done is haul another load to the dump w the brown truck before loading it up for its trip to its new home…

New home? As in, your new home? Or the truck will have a new owner?

Episode 86. It's a 2 part episode.

Yeah he does. There's only been a few episodes I've skipped.

received front/rear brake pads, front hoses, rear wheel cylinders and will warranty exchange front calipers. RF locks up when extremely cold or has rained. Autozone is nice enough to exchange both front calipers even though only one is locking up.

The plan is to change the fluid first with all the old parts on. Then install new parts and bleed.

My thoughts are don't introduce old fluid into the new calipers/wheel cylinders. I'd have my local (bang for buck labor do it) but they didn't give me the "buddy" price I guess. They want $375 to do it, I'll take that labor savings and get an impact thats worth a sh|t to take the wheels off lol.

Got the transmission cross-member out of the 73 Jimmy. Got the upper brackets out (Finally) Pressure washed the pieces. I figured the big a$$ bend in it wasn't supposed to be there. So a bit of time with the 20 ton press flattened it back out. Started sandblasting the upper brackets. Going to wire wheel the cross-member and paint them with Cassie and Roll bar paint. The pressure washer worked great with the water running before I started it.
