Well with the limited availability of certain things, I bought a 3d printer and have been busy tinkering with it. The plastic eyelid grille trim retainer pieces have finally given up and I've taken on the task of 3d printing some parts.

And a nice little bowtie display piece and some grille inserts for the billet grille.

Been fun playing around in CAD again and designing things. Mostly trial and error stuff for now because I don't have the 3d scanner (yet), but things are working out pretty good. Can't wait for car show season again, forget this cold weather and snow, bring on the sun!!!!

Rummaged thru my buddy’s parts hoard looking for a spare hydraulic setup he has. Didn’t find it but know where it is lol

My 14 yr old was working on his 2litre swapped rabbit over there today. Lil sh!t added a sticker to his intake manifold :)

I kinda slacked and finally tried out my smoker I got for Christmas. Had an idiot moment and forgot to wrap my ribs half way thru. Luckily they didn’t turn out horribly dry. Made some smoked hamburger queso that’s amazing lol

Got the serpentine belt components installed and did a test run. All seems well.

Installation wasn’t a real big deal. The biggest issue I had was entirely my doing: I pressed on the new power steering pump pulley backwards. Of course that made removal a challenge as there was no provision for the tool to remove a backwards pulley, lol. I modified a steering wheel puller and with a bit of heat was able to get it off.

They did send the wrong belt (belt was for engine with air conditioning) but measured and got a suitable belt from Oreilly’s.

Been doing the fabrication late on the weeknights and my brother's chasing me with the body work on the weekend while I attend to other pressing mechanical matters. Wrapping up the drivers side of the Blazer - been a long road. It was the harder side so hopefully the passenger side doesn't kick my behind too hard. A lot of sanding, priming, seam sealer, painting, etc. While he did that i removed the tailgate and bumper and prepped them as they both need attention - and making it easier to clean up the frame and patch the rear of the tail pan. I had also put two new belts on the motor, replaced all of the glow plugs and started to clean up some wiring. Starting to look a lot better.

The pictures start from oldest to present day to give you guys some progression - (will go to next post too)

hit a rough drop off in a construction area. The hump over the rear exhaust broke loose. Time for some exhaust....or whack off the passenger side and save $160 until I'm ready to go from 2 1/4" to 2 1/2".

This truck is riddled with military equipment (obviously as you know), there's some kind of mounting bracket welded here, beats me what was on it originally. I'll get a picture for ya next time im out there

Did front to back LED bulbs and added the 2 led relays? in the fuse block today. Ordered new tail light buckets cause I don’t like how brittle these OG ones are. Also ordered tail light gaskets and new front side markers to replace the stock ones that are brittle.

Didn’t do much. Wife was sick and daughter had wisdom teeth pulled yesterday so I split early to grab em meds and cold things lol

On the hunt for a OEM hydraulic setup for the clutch. Just brain storming future changes
Can you share the part number for the Led relay's plz! Or a pic, website!

Got reminded that changing an in-line canister filter under the vehicle, regardless of how quickly you make that swap on the inlet side, while the tank is full of fuel, you're getting soaked in fuel. Just the shirt shoulder area and back, but nothing that a change of shirt could't fix...lol...
