Tire size opinions on stock 15x8 rally's

Been looking around the site for a while and all I'm finding is threads for the 4x4's. Building an 87 swb for my son, he likes the stock rally's (thank god) and I was wondering what you guys feel is the best looking front/rear tire combination on them?

If you want same size front and rear, 275/60/15s
If you want big and small I would go with 245/60/15s in the front and 295/50/15s in the rear, and yes they will fit on an 8in rim.

Ive got 295/50/15 on my S10 rears if anybody needs pics of how they look on the rim. Wont be right of how they look on the truck but atleast youll see how they look on the rim.

Not according to the dumb azz at Wally World near my job. They'll only install 225/75s on 'em because that's the tire that originally came on it.

I personally like the 255/70s on the 15's.

Probably close to the same diameter. My speedo is correct.

On the front of the blue truck are 15x8 with 245/60/15. Rear are 15x10 with 295/50/15.

This is my black truck when I first had 15x8 on the rear with 295/50/15.

I love the rallies...I wish the optional aluminum wheels were 8"...

I need to get the rallies from the pirate and put my good 295/50s on them...

Damn those are some great looking trucks!
Mine came from the factory with those aluminum wheels, PO took them off because the lug nuts were always loosening up.

I guess I should throw one up of it lowered a little with the 8s still on it.
