So I'm trying to put together a quad grill and bucket GMC setup for my truck. The elusive GMC emblem has been a PITA to pin down.
Best guess right now is a 12542030 that's still available for $70.

So I'm asking for help. Can anyone confirm the part number I listed? Or would a owner of a 89-91 GMC Jim my or Suburban be so bold to supply me with the last 8 of his VIN. With the VIN I can tell 100% for sure if the emblem is correct.

Photo to refrence the grille I'm looking 2 put together.

Thanks.

You have the radiator support, right? Crews of that year range would work too.

There is an elk somewhere in New Mexico wearing one from my suburban. That part number references the gmt400 front emblem which is different. I had to buy an okish looking one from ebay for $120 still attached to the grille when that elk stole the original. Definitely post up if you find originals somewhere, I would want to get a new one.
Edit:
Actually looks like it might work. Just looked closely at mine and it looks very close to what my old 88 gmt400 had. Which would make sense to share

I wonder if the grille in your illustration belonged to the old school dual headlamp setup.
From the photos of the 89-91 quad lamp setup the grille emblem looks like 1 part, not 3.

I honestly have no idea.

Maybe they can be separate. The chrome just looked like they are together.

For reference 88 I used to have appears to be more curved than the square bodies. So it is either the newer three letters part numbers or unknown.

The grill in his reference page looks like the one that belonged with the front ends that had the single larger square headlight setup that started getting mixed in between the two versions of quad smaller square headlights...

Just I don't think LMC actually has the true GMC parts.

The example shown in the parts directory is for the 1985-88 style. Those have distinctly separate letters, and I've seen times where they'll repop one, two, or all three on those. It sucks that those are so hard to find. It's like making a sundae, and you're out of cherries to put on top.

That is why I just decided to use one of the aluminum powder coated black ones that goes in between the headlights. I am going to put some mesh behind it to fill in the gap some and then mount a 48 inch LED light bar behind it.... also going to black out all the trim, headlight buckets, etc etc.
