Howdy, I've been having tons of intake issues with my 1986 block 383 stroker I just built. It has flotek aluminum heads and an edlebrock performer intake. Originally I built the motor with a metal intake gasket that fit really well, just a stock replacement, but when I swapped the cam I realized I need to use a composite gasket. So far I used a felpro, 1206 which had way too big ports and was consuming oil and now an edlebrock intake gasket which is also too large and consuming oil and leaking coolant, does anyone have a part number for a thicker/ smaller intake port intake gasket. Any help is super appreciated!! Im ripping my hair out here.

Not sure if this would work, but what about no gasket and a nice thick layer of this:

Felpro FEL-1207 is supposedly for the smaller port heads. AFR makes fancy gaskets if that is your thing.

Why not contact Flotek and ask them?

I've used the 1206 gaskets in the past with no issues. Did you have the heads milled, and or the block decked? It sounds like you have a fitment issue with your intake to the heads and block.
