Yup, I was kinda wondering who calculates the mpg for Driver's family. I was kinda thinking that everything like the truck, Cavalier and Bonneville gets 5-6 mpg better than everyone elses gets. Maybe they get much better gas up there in NE or something
I'd still have a Bonneville though.

If I hadn't been to Nebraska several times, I'd think everything was always downhill and there was always a tailwind.
And I'd have a Bonneville too.

We all know you aren't kidding, but we do all know you are wrong about your MPG figures. A Bonneville does NOT get the mileage you claimed and neither does your Cavi. There's no way in hell that those two cars in your family get 5-8 more mpg than any other Cavi or Bonny ever sold. Sorry for being blunt, but it's hard to ignore when you seem to mention 41 mpg in nearly every thread.

I had a 2002 Cavi (4 banger, 5 speed) and that thing never topped 35 mpg on the highway and I drove about 200 miles a day (all hwy) at that point in my life

I'd love to have a 6.2 truck. Yes My k10 was original 6.2. But it's already been converted to gas. And I have gas motors ready to roll so its cheaper for me just to keep it gas.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it does in fact get 41. We drove it from Beatrice to fremont and back Plus around fremont and beatrice, and the 12 to and from my house to town, so lets just say 205mi round trip. on 20$ Which was 5gal at the time.
