If it works out Swim can live without it, I can sure wait til February and meet you at one of the Casinos. Which ones do you go to? I am about 15-20 minutes from either Riverwind in Norman off Hwy 9 and I-35, or also in the other direction to the Chickasaw Nation casino in NewCastle. Also a few on the way to my dads too, like Firelake in Shawnee. If you don't go near any of them, then shipping is fine too. I usually have some extra parts too if there is something you need for your truck that I have and not going to use. About all I have a shortage of is motor parts. But if you need something do let me know fairly quick so I can pull it, cuz I hope to be scrapping a truck in the next week or 2 and I'd sure hate to scrap what you could have used especially if you were going to be here and could have picked it up.

We really like the RiverWind in Norman..even though our first time there, I wiped out almost $2600..lol...(BIG lesson learned that time)...I'll talk to the wife tomorrow, and see if/when she wants to head that way and let you know. Can't think of any parts right off hand, but I'm sure there are things that I wouldn't mind buying tho.....:)

throw the air cleaner in the trash. it'll get soaked with a light mist of gas, and when the Edelbroke carb sneezes, like they always do, it will ignite. common problem with them, i'd hate to see someone burn their truck to the ground.

I think Summit has free shipping if you spend enough with them.

think again. i spent $1500+ a couple times, and never got a break on anything. they will price match anybody's price though.

You're right, I am thinking of one of my transmisison parts suppliers and I don't buy from them much at all cuz their prices are higher than the other place I use, so even with free shipping its still cheaper at the other place.

I'd never hear of that. But I do know the burnt truck I bought that had an engine fire, was a gas fire, and I know it had an Eddy carb on it, but not sure of the filter or what caused the fire, wether it been a fuel leak, a carb sneeze of what. What about on a Quadrajet or TBI?
