Not to start up another debate, but... do you know exactly how many miles you traveled on that tank, or do you just know about how many miles?

And that's a very nice find on those wheels, you got a deal on them too. Shine up them old tires, get a nice piece of oval shaped glass with beveled edges and then you have a great coffee table.

My speedometer is off, so I couldn't keep track of the miles that way, so I added in a couple of miles roughly of diriving around in freemont, and it came out to about 200miles, that's from my town to freemont plus a couple miles X2. And when I gat back into my town I put in 13.1gal to top it back off. That's about as accurate as I could get it bucket........

The wheels will probly go on the monte, but I could probly make a table out of the tires. I was planning on airing them up and having fun on them.

Yeah, I meant just the tires. The wheels definitely need to go on your car

scotch ball, heavy buffing compound, then light compound.

I didn't use the weenol on these. they ended up not needing it after hitting them with a buffer and 2 grades of compound.

But yea, a scuff and polish.

Im gonna get Black Alan head bolts to help offset the aluminum, those steal bolts just rust to easy unless I went stainless, but I need 30bolts for both wheels, and at 3$ a bolt, that's a lot of $$.

Wheels look good, very impressed. I think black allen heads will set the wheel off nicely.

The tires I've been contemplating were 275/60's,255/60's, or 295/50's. Ill most likely go with the 295's, they are just a hair more rubber on the ground as compared to the rest of the sizes ive seen, unless I go Street slicks, then I would run a 28x11-15.
