Doesn't look like 3 inch

Maybe it's just the pic though, the pipes appear much smaller than the axle tubes.

Lol, you didn't have to take a picture just for me, I just know I'd be mad if I paid for one thing and got another.

lol, yea, weve all been there atleast once. But I trust the guy that hung it, We've known eachother since i was in a baby carrier.

As a matter of fact, I went back today and personally thanked him for doing it and said how nice of a job he did and how nice it looks.

AND it sound NICE, and I built a pretty healthy engine. It will put you back into the seat. Ive been driving it ALOT these last couple days since it got exhaust on it.

Got 2 tires that are gonna be going on the front, The ones on there now were distributed thrue mongomery ward back in the 80's and they are starting to deform at higher speeds(anythign above 45). So today I picked up some 205/65-15's(they were 205/60-15's), so these will be a hair taller, but they were more common and easier to find(cheeper). So tonight Im droppign them off at a buddy's house that will mount/balance them for me. Saturday We will be taking it on a 200mile trip up to fremont and back for the 2 day swap-meet.
Im hoping the new tires will be as square with the rims as these were, it was the perfect look, I hate having tread smaller than the rim.

Also, Heres a better pic of the exhaust.

Really mean, When I get on it, it gets really agressive sounding.

I love it...

Lol, the other day a kid i know, and i had a little light to light fun, and On green i gave it SOME gas, i didnt romp on it or anything, it was basically slightly off idle, and it broke loose lol, i had to let up to catch traction, and i still got off the light befor he did.

Im enjoying the hell out of this car, and why shouldnt i be? Its something I took the time to build, and put time into. It always is putting a smile on my face.
Now once i get my tires mounted ill be able to enjoy it more without the worry of a tire flying apart. Atleast untill up around 118(or so the tire says).

Today was the freemont swapmeet. So we took the monte, roughly 200miles roundtrip.
When we got back to town I topped it off again(13.1gal). So it got around 15. We also get on it pretty hard a couple different times, and I hit it on the interstate, So if I hadn't have done that it would have been around 16ish. For turning 3000-3250 the whole time for those 200miles , ide say it does pretty damn good.

Also, heres my New toys I couldn't live without.
My main reason for going was I wanted to find some wheels for the back of the monte, the 15x7's wernt gonna cut it with 295's. So after I passed on many slots, and some other fatter wheels, I stumbled across these and couldn't let them slip, I had to have them.

Also I got 2 restraint straps(factory), A 3 stage shift kit set(discontinued), a valvecover(wallart, it was only $1), and tool organizers for college(they were cheep lol), OH, and a carb kit for my holley.

Not to start up another debate, but... do you know exactly how many miles you traveled on that tank, or do you just know about how many miles?

And that's a very nice find on those wheels, you got a deal on them too. Shine up them old tires, get a nice piece of oval shaped glass with beveled edges and then you have a great coffee table.
