I have been working on a GM Dana 60 swap in my C30 along with a 6.0/6L/NP205 and I have come to the point of bump stops. I am utilizing the ORD high clearance crossmember with a mast motorsports high clearance pan. I actually have great clearance between the pumpkin and the engine crossmemeber. The limiting factor will be the factory leaf spring plate. The trucks is factory high with the 3 leaf front springs.
I was considering using something different for a bump stop, a jounce. Here is the one I like from the 2500 Suburbans:
I thought it would add a level of damping to the suspension since these leafs tend to ride hard. Any thoughts?
