I recently installed the Western Chassis 6.5/8”lowering kit on my 84 C15 and it appears I need to modify my front bump stops. I have removed the rubber factory insert and I am still having clearance issues. Anyone on here cut theirs off and been able to leave the steering stops and bolt up an aftermarket polyurethane bump stop without a bunch of welding required? Or should I ditch my factory lowers and install tubular ones?
