Most of you may have seen her on the post your toys thread, figured I'd share the rest. Here's the back story on my girl. She was giving to me before I even had my license from my grandpa. She sat in his shed for about 5 or so years before I got her out for the first time. she smelled like rat piss and dust, but it was love at first sight:burnout:. she had a carb rebuild and some new tires and that was all that was needed. I took my driving test with her and drove her all through high school. While at work one of my friend broke off her spoiler and I was a little pissed:flame:. But then I didn't blame him because I caused it to happen:emotions34:. Then I ran into my Aunt's car and in that moment I could of:suicide: myself. It wasn't as bad as I thought. fixed the spoiler with one off eBay and drove her off and on till about 2 years ago. One of the last pics of here before I put her in storage:Bye:.

So she sat there in the very shed I got out of, until the other day I woke her up from sleep:

hooked the jumper cables to her and she roared to life (on 2 year old gas at that). Yes she has 83,093 original miles on her too:worship:

Pulled her out of the dusty shed to see daylight:

Here's the dent I caused (I was 16):

My plans are as follows:
  • Fix dent/maybe repaint her
  • Maybe go back to the original rims
  • Just get out and drive her again:driver:
First thing I'm gonna do is clean her:buffer: and fix some odds and ends:rockit:.

Always liked those cars, can't believe I haven't had one yet. I like them best in silver or black.

Nice project, I saw a much older Monte I would like to get, a '70 model. Always liked those bodystyle Monte's too, especially with the t-tops.

Nice car man! I love these too, and I have an 85 myself. Dad gave it to me for my first car. Don't want to jack your thread, so I will just say take car of that car or I will come take it away from you!

Got me some center caps for the OEM wheels:waytogo:. I've decided that I'm gonna go back to them after some good cleaning. I need to dig them out this weekend. Can't wait:party36:

You ready to sell this to me? I have been looking to get rid of my t-top SS for a solid top SS with grey interior. Seems most around here have red interiors.

Do anything with this car latey? Thanks for bumpin' it 89S.
