I been trying to sell a 302 engine block with just oilpan, heads and one valve cover. Since posting it on CL on May 9th I only had 2 calls. One asked what your trying to get and I said I dont know $100 bucks. I know nothing about it except it came out of a 71 torino and would need freshened up before using. I'm about ready to scrap 302 with the load scrap I'm gathering up to make room for engine to rebuild for the 90 chevy truck. I have no use for the 302.

never had a problem with them, my old man had one in his 79 f150 4x4 and it would scream, it was just a stock 302 from a car, he could turn over 35's no problem, he trashed 3 sets of rear ends and front ends turning them over.

Around here or on ford forums you could get some cash out of it, just gotta find a ford guy.

Junking the 302 not worth it to hold on to and take up floor space in the garage.

You need someone to just come to your house, offer you $500 for all the stuff just sitting around and haul it all off for you so that you don't have to worry about making decisions on what you want to do with it anymore :deal:

Your right on that. I'm pack rat and like to buy/get stuff cheap/free and get it working. Then try to sell it. Then when I cant get rid of it then I just keep it and keep adding to the pile instead getting rid of what I have already.

Ok, I decided not to scrap cause this a rare 302. It uses the 3 bolt crank pulley which are hard to find. Will fit a late 60's to early 70's classic mustang or other car.

Should've have took C4's advice on scrapping this block. I still have it and only one the other day asking I had the pulleys with it. I said no. I guess nobody buys engine blocks anymore.
