It's probably a by state thing,Kansas they have to turn over titles to the state within 30 days and can't they be sold or registered again. Kansas is kinda jacked up with some of their Title stuff,I have one truck that can never be registered again, because I said it was junk,so I could transfer the tag instead of buying a new tag. Because I said it was junk, they flagged the title.

I think there's more to it than that. If the junkyard has a dealer's license, they should be able to sell a complete vehicle and not turn in the title.

True, but I think they have to decide that before it goes in the yard. I know at Pik n Pull in Kansas City I tried to buy a whole car out of the yard,I talked to the boss,he said if I had caught it before it came into the yard he could have done it,but the titles already turned in and he can't sell it. Told me as long as they are in the processing area,I can still buy them,I got tired of going there and looking into the processing area through the fence hoping to find another project I don't need.

Same yard put out an '88 R10 Burb this week. Hopefully I can get over there on Wednesday and check these out/pull some stuff off them. They have a few OBS trucks I need to harvest things from too.

Another yard, the LKQ on Wallisville Road in East Houston (not too far outside of Loop 610) recently put out a 1991 GMC Burb. Not too much on it by their pictures, but....they are having a 50% off sale this weekend, Saturday through Monday. Opens up at 8:00 am on the weekend....
And the U Pull And Pay yard near Hobby Airport that has the other two square body Burbs, is having a "wheelbarrow load for $84.99" sale only on Monday.
I will try to get by the U Pull this Saturday IF I can get a buddy to come harvest parts with me. I need some bits of an OBS Burb at the LKQ near my place, and one of the things I want to get for half price is a good(if they have a good one available!). That's a little bit more than I can handle by myself, to get one off the truck and onto the wheelbarrow or cart. He lives real close to the U Pull so I may be able to talk him into going over there (he wants the V8 crossmember for his 75 steppy).

@HotWheelsBurban Appreciate the heads up as I'm in the Houston area myself. If you do make it out, mind checking to see if any of the square Burbs have the rear AC system in place? Looking to add that to my 76 Burb.
What part of H Town? I'm near the Astrodome/NRG stadium.... LKQ SW Houston is the one I'm hitting first thing Saturday morning, if nothing comes up. It's not too far from home....
This Burb is at the Wallisville Road location which is off 610 just north of the Ship Channel bridge. U Pull And Pay is near Hobby Airport, in SE Houston.
