My set up snapped a lower coilover bolt running single shear.
I told myself... why would they sell kits if it wasn’t safe? I Can do it too. Going down the freeway at 80 MPH snap! Pulled over, inspected and limped it home. Immediately ordered the stuff to make it double shear and will never do that again.

I think you made the better choice on you front end. Not that I don't think mine is high quality....they have crappy...crappy customer service. If you haven't made up your mind on Brake calipers yet, and wanting to stay stock size...I highly recommend Wilwood. Super nice people to deal with, and great customer care. These are a two piston caliper, all aluminum.

Those the d52 replacement ones? They mention that some people had to grind them down to clear the 15” wheels? Any fitment issues?

Awesome. I’ll order those. Been looking at them but worried about issues. I’m not ready to switch to larger rims. I love my 15s.
On the coilovers for the front, do they use the upper spring pocket and bracket to retain the spring on the coilover?
Or does it still use a retainer to capture the spring like a standard coilover?

I'm with you, I still like my 15s.

As far as the coil overs, yes they have a bracket that gets bolted in the the original cross member. I have a bunch more pics in my build thread. That is the complete kit.

Here’s a kit from qa1. Don’t mind the fact it’s not a square.
I used Eastwood’s chassis saver sprayed on.

Details on your rear bumper filler please. Is it a Suburban filler panel with notches cut out on the ends?
