Yay, back together and rolling! Looks good.

It has got to ride better than leaf springs, or I would hope.

Is the 4 link and coil over a kit?

Yessir. I avoid using definitive positives. There’s always someone offended that leaf springs struggle to perform as well as coilovers

Edit. It’s a “kit “ as in brackets were pre welded. It wasn’t an exact kit for the truck including coilovers. I used Qa1s specs tho ;)

I now have an Auburn limited slip in there.
I just sent it to the local guru and trusted his recommendations.

Well whoever denies coil overs perform better is a dumb ass.

I would swap to coil overs in a heartbeat if I could afford to.

Those are the stock 3:73s in my 1995 Suburban.
I put a new set in that look just like them and they are glorious.
The rear axle is now the most valuable part of the vehicle...

Let us just say, it was one of those moments when your gut drops...

The family was loaded up and we were going to a hockey game in downtown.
This crunchy poppy noise happened less than a mile from our house in suburbia.
Needless to say in 2wd it was a dead duck in the intersection.

So I did what any guy with a 4wd vehicle is going to do to get off the road and into a parking lot oh so close by, I put it into four and drove it off the roadway.

The parking lot is where the really bad stuff happened...

This is the first repair I did.
Another stock center from the junkyard as we were not financially ready to deal with this.
It only lasted another 2 years.
Never going to use the stock setup again....
